February’s newsletter focuses on our ongoing efforts to save responsible lending laws. We have made multiple submissions in this area as we continue to warn about the danger of removing these protections.

The newsletter also outlines how CCLSWA staff managed in WA’s snap lockdown. Once the lockdown was over, we were able to do our first school education session for the year in Kelmscott.

We end the newsletter with some exciting news: Our Office Manager and Community Legal Education Coordinator will be the recipient of an ‘Upskilling’ Grant from Financial Counselling Australia to allow her to begin training to become a financial counsellor!
