April’s newsletter starts with an introduction from our new General Manager, Bev. Bev brings a wealth of experience and exciting plans for CCLSWA!

In April we collaborated with CHOICE on an investigative report about buy now, pay later (BNPL) products. This report raised the alarm about the practice of car dealers using BNPL services to get around borrowing limits set by traditional lenders. On the day the report was released our Principal Solicitor, Roberta Grealish, was interviewed on ABC Radio Perth.

We encourage our supporters to sign an open letter that calls on the government to support First Nations peoples who have been affected by the collapse of funeral insurer Youpla.
