April saw us attend two important events before COVID restrictions hit and we had to lockdown the office and work from home.

Firstly, we attended the Sector Sustainability Day where the sector was able to say farewell to Sharryn Jackson and welcome Chelsea McKinney.

Then at the Consumer Protection Awards, we were delighted to see Women’s Legal Service (WA) win! The event also saw Alan Kirkland from CHOICE give a fascinating speech on topics such as megatrends in consumer protection and climate change.

Lastly, we end the newsletter with the bittersweet news that we said goodbye to Lydia, one of our solicitors, who has taken up a new role.
