Consumer Credit Legal Service (WA) is pleased to make this submission to the Australian Law Reform Commission Elder Abuse Inquiry Issues Paper. This submission addressed the following matters in the Issues Paper:

  • Evidence of elder abuse in banking or financial systems
  • Suggested legislative and legal framework changes relating to financial institutions to identify, improve safeguards against and respond to elder abuse.
