CCLS & Law Reform

CCLS participates in law reform activities on matters directly related to our Priority Client Groups and Priority Law Type. The TAL and case files inform our submissions and provide case study examples to various government, industry and regulator consultations. CCLSWA often collaborates with other specialist CLC counterparts in other states to provide a WA voice to national submissions.

Special Projects
From time-to-time CCLS will apply for grants to undertake specific projects where relevant to credit and consumer law and in support of priority groups. Currently CCLS acts as the WA state coordinator for The Economic Abuse Reference Group (EARG) and Secriatat for the Western Australia Consumer Advocacy Network (WACAN).

Submissions
Presented below are some of the submissions we have diligently worked on and successfully submitted.
