In November Roberta and David presented on electronic payments and scams at the Financial Counsellors’ Association WA Conference. After their presentation, they joined financial counsellors at the Gala Dinner and awards presentation where the amazing work of financial counsellors was celebrated.
November was a big month for scams as Scams Awareness Week 2021 ran from 8 to 12 November. This event sought to reduce the stigma of ‘being scammed’ and assist people to recognise scams sooner.
Our newsletter also showcases the work of our new solicitor, Lisa. Lisa has been busy working in collaboration with other Community Legal Centres across WA on the Family and Domestic Violence Legal Health Check Project.
