On 10 September 2015, two CCLSWA solicitors, Curtis Ward and Georgina Molloy, presented at a fundraiser organised by the Piddington Society on consumer credit and unconscionability.  Also on the panel were former ACCC Commissioner Sitesh Bhojani and Aaron McDonald, Director of Pragma Legal.

The event was well-attended by members of the legal profession, law students and even some of our CCLSWA volunteer paralegals. Attendees learned about equitable unconscionability, statutory unconscionable conduct and how to make complaints to Ombudsman services. Proceeds from the fundraiser went to the Piddington Justice Project and the Consumer Credit Legal Service.

Many thanks to King and Wood Mallesons for hosting the event, as well as sponsors KBE Human Capital, Pitcher Partners, CT Group Solutions and Pragma Legal.
